🚀 Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Step 1: Attach the Slat Holder
Snap the slat holder onto the uppermost slat. This forms the core structural link and prevents the slats from being lifted manually.

Step 2: Mount the Baseplate Clamp
Align the baseplate holder with the headrail and press into place. Choose your correct clamp size (40mm or 60mm). It automatically compresses for a snug, stable fit.

Step 3: Listen for the Click
The patented Click-Clack system locks the clamp in place with a satisfying audible and tactile “click,” compressing in 1mm increments for high-precision installation.

Step 4: Swap or Adjust On Site
Need to change headrail sizes or replace a slat? Simply detach one clamp and insert the other — no tools, no downtime.

📏 How Many Units Do You Need?

For shutters up to 1 metre wide ➜ Use 2 units
For every additional 50cm of width ➜ Add 1 more unit

✅ Example: A 2m wide shutter would require 4 units.

This ensures optimal security and proper spacing across the headrail.

📐 Choosing the Right Size

1. 2-Piece or 3-Piece?

Canopy (box) height 13.5cm → choose 2-Piece
Canopy (box) height 16.5cm, 18cm, or 20cm+ → choose 3-Piece
Garage doors: always 3-Piece
Security shutters: usually 3-Piece (only small window canopies at 13.5cm need the 2-Piece)

2. 40mm or 60mm?

Headrail measures 40mm → choose 40mm
Headrail measures 60mm → choose 60mm
Garage doors: almost always 60mm
Security shutters: can be 40mm or 60mm — measure with a tape before ordering

3. Which slats is it compatible with?

Roller Guard is compatible with all standard roller shutter slats, including:
39mm, 43mm, 45mm, 52mm, and 55mm profiles.

If your slat size falls within this range, Roller Guard will fit seamlessly — ensuring a secure, smooth, and reliable operation.
